There are times when you're ready to purchase a new computer and get rid of the current machine sitting on your desk. While giving your computer as a hand-me-down to friends or family is always nice, you might not be aware that some of your data still exists on your computer which may be accessed using software applications designed to scan for deleted data.
If you're getting rid of your computer, East-Tec's DisposeSecure can clean your system of data which may still be accessible. The program will check each disk sector and remove current data by overwriting it with nothingness. After processing the hard drive, East-Tech's DisposeSecure will make sure nothing is recoverable.
While it's advisable to clear you data before you dispose of a hard drive, there are also other uses of this program which may come in handy.
This program works with IDE, SCSI and SATA hard drives installed in desktop or laptop computers. Once you're done using the program, you will be provided with a full report of the operations carried out.
